Listening. Learning. Deciding.

Exploring What's Next for Maine

Over four terms, I’ve had the honor of serving as State Representative, chairing key committees, and showing up for my neighbors when it mattered most. I didn’t run for office to chase a title. I ran because too many working families were getting priced out, shut out, or talked over, and I knew we could do better.
I’m a mom of three grown sons, a small business owner, and someone who believes public service is exactly that: service.
Now, I am exploring a run for Congress in Maine’s First District. This is about a new chapter of leadership. One rooted in accessibility, accountability, and the kind of hands-on, no-nonsense approach Mainers expect.

Why Me. Why Now.

Washington is pinning its wheels. In Maine, I’ve been delivering:

  • Economic Development: As chair of the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement & Business Committee, I modernized our economy, strengthened small businesses, and worked to ease the burden of student debt.
  • Outdoor Heritage: As chair of the Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Committee, I balanced our traditions with sustainability and economic growth.
  • Farms & Forest: On the Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry Committee, I defended the health and economic stability of our farms, forestry, and public lands.

While D.C. stalls, I’ve built strong bipartisan coalitions, strengthened rural and coastal economies, and made life more affordable. Mainers are practical, people-first. Congress could learn from us.

The Stakes Are Too High to Wait

If we want Congress to reflect our values, we need leaders who’ve lived them. That’s who I am: determined, pragmatic, and focused on results.

For real solutions
For a new chapter of leadership
